What is different about this shampoo?
This is no ordinary shampoo! Not only does it clean the coat brilliantly, it also eliminates odours on contact. If your pet smells of urine or feces, has rolled in something, has been sprayed by a skunk, regardless what the smell source is, this is the shampoo to use!

How do I use it?
Use it like any other shampoo. If there is an offensive odour to eliminate, ensure the shampoo has contact with the area for at least 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly. For optimum results shampoo your pet before the offending odours have a chance to be absorbed into the skin. The results are permanent regardless if the coat gets warm or damp.

Why with other deodorizing shampoos, does the offending smell come back?
Purposefully some shampoos, especially for skunk spray, drive the odour into the skin. This is why you find temporary relief just after bathing, but months later when the pet gets wet, the odour returns.

What happens if the odours have been absorbed into the skin?
The problem becomes compounded. The shampoo has to have contact with the source to eliminate the odour. Once absorption has occurred, the shampoo cannot reach it. You can shampoo on a regular basis until the odour has worked itself out of the skin layers, or you can consult your veterinarian to see about using a 'medicated' shampoo in conjunction with the Wash-Up Shampoo (some medicated shampoos will strip oils from the skin or remove superficial layers).

What if my pet just needs a bath, can I use this shampoo?
Of course, it has amazing cleaning properties.

My pet has special shampoo from the veterinary hospital; can I still use this shampoo?
Consult your veterinarian prior to use if your pet has a skin condition or uses 'medicated' shampoo.

Is this shampoo scented?
Yes, there is a light, refreshing scent of green apple.

Why is there no dye added?
We do not add dye to any of our products. Although 'colourful' products tend to look more attractive to consumers, we keep our products as environmentally sound as possible.
